About your Cosima bag’s parchment leather
Developed in the 2nd century BC in the Kingdom of Pergamon during the Hellenistic period, parchment leather was created as an alternative to papyrus, a material made to carry words, ideas, and memory.
Today, we reinterpret this ancient technique through natural processes, avoiding heavy chemical treatment and preserving its natural character.
