FW 21, Walden collection is inspired by the utopian dream of one, living 24/7 outdoors, on Mainland Anim. Influenced by Henry David Thoreau's Walden; the collection, just like the book itself, reflects upon the idea of ‘simple living in natural surroundings’.Harbouring essentials of Anim as usual, the collection includes exclusive bed sets, lambswool and cashmere blend throws, unique tableware pieces as well as raw yet refined towels and robes, repurposed in multiple ways of use. Anim’s home collection driven by the desire to live outdoors has arrived for Fall Winter 2021, and is here to stay forever. The collection is heralded by a series of photographs by Osman Ozel, aspired to take you on a journey through the sacred hills of Turkey’s Mount Ida.  Aiming to connect all the colors and textures with their roots, the collection is a combination of practicality and spontaneity, as well as a voyage of spiritual discovery. One moment a placemat is layed on the table, the second moment it’s turned into a piece of clothing. One moment bedsheets are on the bed, the second they are wrapped up on the hills. The pieces shift in a variety of fabrics, from cotton and linen blends to more sustainable options such as lyocell, but the pieces also shift in a variety of feels and emotions.
